This morning I decided to take a pregnancy test, since I am a little over a week late, I figure I better check to make sure that I am not pregnant before going to Hershey park today. We have concert tickets to go to the Bob Dylan concert and had decided to go to Hershey park before the concert since we get discounted admission.

I awoke my husband to, "Turn on the light, you have to see this." He said, "What, I am trying to sleep." I said are you ready to be a Daddy again, he said, "Shut up". I said no, really, he said really, I said yes really. He got a big goofy smile on his face while I said, I guess I can't go to Haiti now in January, he laughed and said, no I guess not.

My next mission was to tell Elijah the news, I was afraid to do this, he already is not that crazy about having a little sister and he is so looking foward to Haiti, I was sure he was going to be disappointed and upset. I woke him up and told him we could not go to Haiti because we were going to have another baby. He said, really, I said yes honey, really. He said, "That's ok Mom, it is just not God's will for us to go to Haiti this year, if we were to go maybe something bad would have happened. We will get there someday, it is ok Mom." I was baffled by my sons faith and understanding. It was a proud moment for me as a mom. I know I am doing something right with raising him. He has more faith than I ever did at his age. It is really quite amazing to see him grow in the Lord.

CONGRATS! I can totally see Bill's "big goofy smile" in my head. I've seen the same smile (though maybe not as big) when camping/drinking/fishing/golfing with him. And Elijah's reaction is priceless.
